Sunday Mornings
We believe that worshipping together is central to the life of our church. Whether your musical preference is classic or contemporary, we have a service that will fit your style. Our first service is a blend of contemporary and traditional music with a choir and orchestra while our second service is contemporary music with a live band. Both services are held in an environment that is relaxed and upbeat. Style of dress is comfortable. At First Baptist Oviedo, worship is our expression of gratitude that we endeavor to keep fresh, simple, and passionate in every service.
Service Schedule:
9:30 a.m. – Choir and Orchestra-led Service
11:00 a.m. – Band-led Service
Dr. Dwayne Mercer delivers the same message in both Sunday morning Worship Services.
Sunday Evenings
Prayer Services are held on the first Sunday evening of each month with the exception of the summer. These services always begin at 6:00 p.m. and are in Legacy Hall (formerly the Sanctuary).
Also, if you are between the ages of 18 and 30, "The Gathering" was created for you. Every Sunday night at 7:30 p.m. in the Annex we gather to worship through music and the exploration of God's Word. Expect a comfortable atmosphere, dress casual, and bring a friend.
