For The Kids
Preschool
Your preschooler will discover an exciting environment waiting for him or her in the Kingdom Kids Preschool Ministry at First Baptist Oviedo. We welcome babies through kindergartners into safe and secure classrooms where they will learn about Jesus every time they are at church.
Elementary
Christ’s Kidz Children’s Ministry is just the spot for 1st through 5th graders. Kidz Connection (children's Worship Service) and Kidz Quest (children’s Small Group classes) are perfect for your child to connect with God and make new friends.
Middle School
Emerge is the Middle School Ministry of First Baptist Oviedo. Emerge means “to come forth” or “to come into existence;” and we want our students to emerge from their world and culture into a meaningful, radical relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe that Middle School students can not only learn the Word, but also live the Word, and engage their world. To accomplish this goal, we have a three-step ministry process in which we EXPOSE a student to a relationship with Jesus, EQUIP them to follow Jesus, and provide an avenue for them to EXPERIENCE a life serving Jesus.
High School
Elevate is the High School Student Ministry of First Baptist Church Oviedo. The word elevate can be defined as “to raise something to the next level," and that’s exactly what we’d like teenagers to do this year…elevate their lives to the next level. We provide a three-step ministry process that allows students to grow in their relationship with Christ: EXPOSE a student to a relationship with Jesus, EQUIP a student to follow Jesus, and EXPERIENCE a life serving Jesus.
Worship Center
Stop by either one of our Welcome Centers as you enter the front doors of the main level from Broadway, or on the lower level portico entrance. Our greeters will be happy to direct you and your family to where you would like to visit.

Worship Service
One of the greatest things about God is that He meets us right where we are, but He loves us too much to leave us there. Our desire as a church is to be a catalyst for God – to provide relevant teaching that is applicable to our everyday lives and moves us to our next step in spiritual growth. By committing to speaking truth, we will grow individually, and as a church body.

First-time guests are invited to stop in at the Hospitality Center following the Worship Service to give our pastor and his wife, Pam, an opportunity to greet you. Their desire is to personally welcome everyone who visits First Baptist Oviedo. This brief greeting time is our way of saying, "We are glad you are here."

Then...Discover First
Discover First is the class for you if you are desiring membership or just looking for information about who we are, what we do and what we believe. Discover First is a required step in membership for middle school through senior adults as well as a place to ask questions or just sit back and learn. This class takes place on Sunday mornings about every four to six weeks. It’s held in our Christian Life Center, room F201 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Please check the weekly Sunday bulletin for the next upcoming class or go to fbcoviedo.org/events for a listing of all upcoming scheduled classes.
If you would like to register for Discover First or have any other questions, please let us know. You may email us to make your reservation for the Sunday you wish to attend. If that date is not available, you will be notified of an alternate Sunday.
