So many people have misconceptions about church—and maybe even about our church. First Baptist Oviedo wanted to do something about it.
We recently built a new building to be able to better serve and reach our community. It isn't for us, and we wanted to live that out by equipping our people to serve and bless those around us. One Sunday we gave out thousands of dollars to our congregation with the following instructions:
- You can't give it back to the church.
- You can't spend it on yourself or your family.
- Use the money to bless someone in the community.
That's it.
