The Friendship Class

(Ladies: Ages 60+)

Description: This class is a diverse group of ladies ranging in ages 50 to 90 plus, but primarily seniors 60 & over. We love God´s Word and we love to be "doers of the Word." We like to do outreach projects in the community during the holidays & at other times. We like to buy or make items to send to the mission field or for one another! We also enjoy celebrating birthdays the 1st Sunday of the month and we try to go out for lunch occasionally on Sundays.

(Young Single Mom’s: Ages 18-25)

Description: We are a class for young single mother’s ranging from the ages of 18-25 years old. Our class focus is to assist young women in discovering God's redeeming love for them. We will help young women discover God’s design for their lives by encouraging them to develop strong faith, healthy relationships, and disciplines that will lead them to live the abundant life God intended for them.

Description: Our Bible fellowship class has ladies of all ages and all types. Some married, some divorced, some single, some widowed. Praying is a crucial part of growing in Christ! Our group is growing strong in prayer and learning the power of using the Word to pray. The Bible is becoming our daily bread and living water to keep us alive and healthy. As we're meditating more and more on the Word instead of our problems we are amazed at the peace and strength of God! Everyone is part of a small support group. They pray daily for each other and build close relationships outside of church. For 2009 our monthly night out is a fitness fellowship at the Joy Christian Arts Academy where we have a workout, Bible devotional, prayer, accountability time, and food and fellowship. Our goal is to be like Christ.

Women Reaching Women

Description: Our purpose is to create and maintain a beautiful community of spiritual growth, a commitment of prayer and encouragement, that supports women growing closer in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ and with each other. We understand the importance of relationships built within godly values and we strive to provide an atmosphere that promotes true Christian friendships and intimacy with God. It is our heart’s desire that every women who participates in our Small Group will experience the life-changing power of God’s truth and grow as sisters in Christ.

Woman of Love and Faith

(Ladies: All Ages)
Facilitator: Candi Calhoon

Description: Ladies class with an age range from 40 to 75 years old. We have married, single and divorced ladies, with or without children. We study various Christian books/DVDs and learn about God. We fellowship in the class and discuss what we learn from the study. We openly talk about our prayer requests and praises and pray for one another. We invite you to come and visit us and experience our relationship with God and each other.

Sisters In Christ

Description: Our class includes median adult ladies who meet at 11:00 a.m. for Bible study, fellowship, and prayer. We use a topical approach to our study of the Bible and seek to understand and apply Scripture to the challenges of living in our secular culture. We welcome visitors and invite you to join us as we build relationships and encourage one another to grow in Christ.

THE INHERITANCE BY BETH MOORE (LADIES)

Description: A part of healing is to know, believe, and live our true inheritance that God has purposed for each one of us. Key verse: Psalm 16:5-6 "The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance."

Esther – A Man and a Woman for Such a Time As This (LADIES)

Dates: May 2 – May 30

Description: What is your purpose? God is always working in the affairs of His creation, even when we are unaware. This study shows us how Esther attained royalty to fulfill God's purpose in her life and the lives of His people. Can God use you "for such a time as this"?

esther (LADIES)

Dates: Begins March 14

Facilitator: Mildred Rios
Description: A verse by verse study of the book of Esther. We will look at the who, what, when and where of Esther and how the events of the book apply to us today. There are many comparisons that can be drawn from these passages between then and our world today.
