Upward Soccer co-ed teams are formed for Pre-K (age four by September 1) through Grade 1. Girls' teams and boys' teams are formed for Grade 2 through Grade 5 players. Grade 6-8 teams will either be gender specific or co-ed depending on the number of registrants. Pre-K teams practice directly before each of their games. Kindergarten through Grade 8 teams have one practice during the week, typically a Tuesday or Thursday, and a game each Saturday. The season will include 6-8 games as the schedule permits.

We were greatly pleased with the fields last year and are happy to announce we have again solidified use of the same fields for the Fall 2012 Upward Soccer Season.

Registration price includes Upward soccer jersey, shorts and socks as well as an end-of-season trophy and surprise. Other costs associated with the league are pictures (if you choose to purchase them) and any concession stand items or team snacks you choose to purchase, none of which are required.

Schedule:

Pre-K Practice: 9:00-9:30 a.m. Saturdays (on the same field as the game scheduled for that day)

K-8th practices: Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays depending on the team August through October.

Games (all ages): Eight Saturdays, September - October 2013
(times to be determined based on number of registrants but likely Pre-K 9:30-10:00 a.m., K-1st 10:00-11:00 a.m., 2nd-3rd 11:00-12:00 noon, 4th-5th 12:00-1:00 p.m., and 6th-8th in the afternoon)

Picture Day: Game 4 (yes, you will still have a game on that day!)

Awards: Saturday after season 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon in the Hangar.

All practices and games will be at Lawton Elementary School, 151 Graham Avenue, Oviedo. Pre-K will practice Saturday mornings before their game. Kindergarten-Grade 8 teams will practice either Tuesday or Thursday, with the earliest practice beginning at 5:30 p.m.
