10th Annual Greater Oviedo 5K Run
We have great things in store for our next race May 26, 2012. Keep checking here for updates (and be sure to check your email if you are an alumni)! Early registration is available for only $15 through March 31, 2012 for all and for our local heroes (fire, police, or military individuals) through race day. April 1-May 22, registration will be $25, and May 23-26 it will be $30.

9th Annual Greater Oviedo 5K Run
God truly blessed our 9th Annual Greater Oviedo 5k! We experienced 760 people register to run, and had well over 1,000 people on campus for the event…making this years 5k double the size of any previous years. Thanks to our many volunteers and partners present, all of those in attendance had a fantastic morning, and the gym was standing-room only as the Gospel was presented, with a total of 36 decisions made.
We were blessed once again by a stunning rendition of the National Anthem by Gary Laustsen on his trumpet after colors were presented by our very own Oviedo High School JROTC. Freshly home after a tour in Afghanistan, First Baptist Oviedo member Bill Pike prayed to open our event, and Jon Kragel kept the event running smoothly from the microphone throughout the morning.
