The JOY Ministry at First Baptist Oviedo has been designed to help teach your child about Jesus Christ at a personal and individual level.
Every special needs child requires a loving environment, careful attention, and flexibility for learning and understanding. You will be able to attend Worship Services without interruption or worry as your child is cared for by teachers who have basic training for special needs. They are not experts, but they lovingly and prayerfully care for each child in their class!
There are three JOY Ministry classes which are based on a person’s age and development. We have a class for Preschoolers (up to 6 years old), Children (7-14 years old) and Teens and Adults. Please read the information provided for each group to see which one you feel might fit best.
