The Music Ministry of First Baptist Oviedo is an exciting place to be as we serve in learning, leading, and worshipping through music. This ministry offers a wide variety of opportunities for service, both vocally and instrumentally.
Our instrumental ensemble called Orchestra is the accompanying foundation for our morning blended service, and all the other services and special events in which the Choir is involved. Our Orchestra consists of adults and older youth who rehearse together on Wednesday nights at 6:30. If you have ever played an instrument, you are welcomed to come join us and lead in worship. The music we play is fairly demanding and would require the skills of a good high school level player.
This group has had the opportunity to share their music with people on three continents. Commitment to rehearsals is a key to keeping this ministry at the high level of achievement it has attained.
Orchestra rehearsals are Wednesday’s at 6:30 p.m. in the Orchestra Rehearsal Room located on the east side of the Upper Level of the Worship Center.
