The Contemporary Worship Service at First Baptist Oviedo is a band driven time of Christ centered, engaging worship. We strive to be on the leading edge of worship music, as well as endeavoring to write music that specifically impacts the needs of the community of believers here at First Baptist Oviedo.
We are working towards having several different teams that will help facilitate worship in the service.

Kyle Carden
Contemporary Worship Leader
Kyle Carden has been playing music for over 10 years. For the majority of those years, the Orlando, FL based singer/songwriter has spent his time traveling and playing around Florida and the Southeastern United States. Happy to have survived some of the experiences from those years, Kyle continues to lead worship in his home church while playing different venues and types of music.
Passionate and honest, whether playing solo, fronting a band or leading worship, Kyle brings a unique, soulful sensibility to his music.
On Sunday mornings, Kyle is regularly joined by the powerhouse rhythm section of drummer Thomas Bell, and bassist Adam Williams, as well as acoustic guitar player Mike Moore, keyboardist Phil Christenot and vocalist Brenna Swan. Their blend of rock and soul gives them a unique voice whether playing for students or adults.
Kyle also plays and sings in Orlando based roots, rock and soul band Braving Winter.
