Our 9:30 a.m. blended Worship Service is led musically by our Celebration Choir and Orchestra. Choir and Orchestra are open to anyone who has the necessary ability and is seeking to serve.
The Choir rehearses on Wednesday’s from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in the Choir Rehearsal room located on the Upper Level of the Worship Center.
We believe that Sunday morning services are led from the overflow of our rehearsal worship experiences. So the emphasis is one of musical and spiritual preparation each week. We don’t audition our singers to be part of the group, but of course, soloists are on an auditioned basis.
As a choir member you will be expected to:
- Serve on Sunday mornings by singing during the 9:30 a.m. service
- Help with seasonal musicals (Easter, 4th of July and Christmas)
- Participate during recording sessions for Worship CDs
- Help lead major church-wide events such as revivals, missions conferences, etc.
There are other opportunities such as ensembles, and dramas available to active members of these groups who desire a greater opportunity of service.
