Married and single adults with children are involved in Small Group Bible studies, fellowships and socials designed to build community and relationships that will last a lifetime. Parenting and marriage communications classes are offered throughout the year as well as classes on financial management and personal and spiritual development. We work hard at building strong marriages and families. Twice in the past two years First Baptist Oviedo hosted nationally known “Boundaries” author John Townsend for a day of fun and instruction on child-rearing.

The Branch is a ministry designed for young adults without kids, both married and single. The name “Branch” comes from something Jesus said in the gospel of John, chapter 15, “I am the vine, you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him, produces much fruit because you can do nothing without me.” It is the desire of members of The Branch whether single or married to bear fruit in their service to Christ through local and foreign missions and service projects.

Sunday Small Groups, weeknight Bible studies, and weekly “eat-outs” keep The Branch fellowship challenged and well fed! Monthly activities include canoeing, concerts, frisbee golf, flag football, as well as trips and in-home movie and snack nights.

Kaleo is the broader name for our collegiate ministry headed by Dan Byrd, our Minister of College Students. Sunday nights until March 21 Dan leads a Worship Service called "The Gathering" with young adults in mind.
