Pamela Mercer is the wife of Dr. Dwayne Mercer, Senior Pastor of First Baptist Oviedo. When Pam and her husband came to First Baptist Oviedo in 1993, God gave her a vision for the women in Oviedo and the surrounding areas. This passion led to developing a team from which the ministry "Women of Wisdom" was created. The ministry has grown significantly and God has changed many lives through retreats, rallies, mentoring, and Bible studies.

Pam currently serves as Director of the Women's Ministry, "Clarity." Clarity provides consultation for Women's Ministry start-ups as well as for existing ministries. This involves speaking at various events.  

Pam is a woman with a heart in pursuit of God and a love for her family that is unsurpassed. She and Pastor have three grown children, one daughter-in-law and a grandson; all of their children are following Christ in their own ministries.
