Sundays 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

e-Teams make up the third step in our ministry process. They are formed to create an environment where students who are actively involved on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings can EXPERIENCE a life serving Jesus. These ministry teams provide an opportunity for students to use their passions, gifts, and abilities to serve their church and their community. E-Teams meet on Sunday afternoons at 4:00 p.m. in the Christian Life Center for a relevant devotional, practice for their ministry, and actually serving the community. Because we don’t expect students to know exactly what they want to do, we invite those interested to “test drive” a ministry for a minimum of 2 weeks. When students have determined which ministry into which they’d like to invest, we ask that they make a school year commitment, serving Jesus in this ministry.

Current e-Teams

Band Ministry Team

Learn how to lead worship just like the Kyle Carden Band. Current options include drums and guitar (electric, bass, and acoustic). Participants need to have a basic knowledge of drums and guitar.

Drama Ministry Team

Use your acting talents to serve Christ and reach others. Our Drama team performs for Wednesday night Emerge and other events.

eMediaMinistry Team

Puppet Ministry Team

Learn how to use the gift and art of puppetry to teach children about God. Regular opportunities available to perform at First Baptist Oviedo as well as in the community.

Musical Performance Ministry Team

The “E-Motion” team uses a combination of dancing, singing, and acting (our version of High School Musical) to creatively share biblical messages. They perform at Emerge and other events.

Outreach Ministry Team

Students go out with adult drivers and visit all first-time visitors to either Emerge, Small Groups, or a big event. They also learn different strategies for sharing the gospel with others. Servant evangelism and prayer walking are also options during this time.
