Unity Groups
Unity Groups make up the third step in our ministry process, and they are formed to create an environment where students who are actively involved on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings can EXPERIENCE a life serving Jesus. These ministry teams provide an opportunity for students to use their passions, gifts, and abilities to serve their church and their community. Unity Groups meet on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. in Legacy Hall (the old sanctuary) for a relevant devotional, practice for their ministry, and actual serving throughout the community. Because we don’t expect students to know exactly what they want to do, we invite those interested to “test drive” a ministry for a minimum of 2 weeks. When students have determined which ministry they’d like to invest in, we ask that they make a school year commitment, serving Jesus in this ministry. Unity Groups is one part of our last steps in our three-step process.
We encourage students serving in ministry to not only serve in their church, but to then move to the second part in this final step, which is to serve the world. Learn more about serving in the mission field.
